After the renovations to this cabin, it made for a great experience for scouts. Scouts had to build fire in wet conditions and cook an egg over it. Eventually, each patrol managed to build a fire. Scouts were also asked to cook their lunch over a fire. Each patrol successfully raised a flag pole. It also was snowing! Later some compass orienteering activities were practiced. To end the day of fun activities we all enjoyed hot chocolate.
